Bio

I am an undergraduate majoring in Evolution, Ecology, and Biodiversity with a minor in Soil Science. In the Latimer Lab, I help Paige with her dendrochronology project. We use tree rings to reconstruct the past forest structure and infer how the stand has grown and changed over time. Personally, I am interested in studying forest pests and pathogens in order to provide forest managers with relevant information about how to manage forests for resiliency. After I graduate this year, I will be pursuing my master’s in Natural Resources at the University of Connecticut studying forest pests in exurban ecosystems.
